How prices are calculated, what they include, and why some figures are labelled estimates.

One complete-trip price

Waypoint Travel prices the whole journey, not one leg. The total shown includes every leg we plan for you, your stay, and any extras you select. Our service fee is zero and we add no booking or card fee. Where a figure is not yet known, it is shown as not available rather than omitted from the total silently.

The price you see at the moment of decision is the price we intend you to pay. Where a supplier changes a price before purchase, we will show the change and the reason for it before anything is confirmed.

Estimates, live data and stale data

Every figure carries a label. Estimate means our engine calculated it from sample inventory. Live means a provider returned it. Out of date means it was calculated earlier and should be refreshed. Not available yet means we do not have it and will not guess.

Guest scores, reviews and photographs of specific properties can only come from a provider. Waypoint Travel does not write, generate or infer them.

Taxes, currency and payment

Amounts are shown in the currency you select. Currency conversion is indicative; the amount finally charged by a supplier or card issuer may differ because of the rate and any fees applied by your bank.

Local taxes and charges payable directly at a destination — city or tourist taxes, resort fees, parking, tolls — are identified separately where we know them, because they are paid to a third party and not to us.

Anywhere this document says “[to be supplied by the operator]”, the detail depends on the registered company, its address and its jurisdiction, and must be filled in by the owner before publication. We will not invent a company identity or a regulator registration.
